I'll dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.

Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters met for the customary stare-down, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
